Joellyn was awarded the commission to create the 2007 Colorado Governors Art Award on March 13, 2007 and she was also selected two days later by the City of Aurora Art in Public Places to show a body of work from June 4th, 2007 in two libraries: Martin Luther King Jr. Library & Municipal Service Center and Tallyn's Reach Library. The show will then travel to the Aurora Municipal Center until May 3rd, 2008.
Along with all the recognition Joly has a show coming up called "The Garden Party" together with Tina Suszynski a talented sculptor. Invites will follow.
